Study Name: GREAT

Lead Principal Investigators:
Dennis Gable, M.D., R.V.T., F.A.C.S. , Gregory Pearl, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Number of Participants Needed: 17

Study Description: Participants will be invited to take part in a data collection study called a registry. This registry will collect data on the use of endovascular grafts to repair aortas. Those being asked to take part in this study have a problem with the large blood vessel in the chest and abdomen called the aorta. Your doctor has determined that the best treatment for you is to have a device placed in your aorta called an endovascular graft. Endovascular means "inside blood vessels." There are no special procedures or additional visits required outside of what your doctor feels is best for you. This registry will just collect information from your usual care to learn more about the performance of these devices to improve the care of other people like you.

Study Name: HARVEST CLI

Lead Principal Investigator: Gregory Pearl, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Number of Participants Needed: 27

Study Description: Participants will be invited to take part in this study because they have severely reduced blood flow in one or both of their lower legs. The blood flow is reduced because of blocked blood vessels in the leg, which is a form of peripheral arterial disease (also called PAD). Your doctor has determined that there are no surgery or balloon treatments that could help your condition. The purpose of this study is to evaluate an experimental procedure of injecting stem cells (cells capable of renewing themselves and develop into many different cell types in the body) from your bone marrow into your leg to possibly improve blood flow in the leg. Only one of your legs will be treated.

Study Name: TIGRIS

Lead Principal Investigator: Dennis Gable, M.D., R.V.T., F.A.C.S.

Number of Participants Needed: 14

Study Description: Participants will be invited to take part in this study because they have a blockage in a blood vessel to their leg that is lowering or stopping blood flow. The blockage is in the blood vessel called the superficial femoral artery (SFA) in the thigh or in the proximal popliteal artery (PPA) behind the knee. This has led to pain when you walk or at rest. The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of the GORE TIGRIS Vascular Stent (called the "study stent"), compared to the BARD LifeStent Vascular Stent (called the "control stent"). The control stent is the only stent approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for treating patients with conditions like yours, while the study stent is still in research studies in the US. The study stent has been approved for use elsewhere in the world.

Study Name: ZENITH

Lead Principal Investigator: William Shutze, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Number of Participants Needed: 22

Study Description: Participants and their physicians have decided that they could be, or have already been, treated with a Zenith stent graft. A stent graft is a device that looks like a tube that can be placed in a blood vessel to cover an aneurysm. The purpose of this study is to collect long-term patient results for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) about stents in the aorta and about the Zenith stent graft in particular.
